1. Coursera

Coursera offers courses curated by top universities like Yale, Michigan, Stanford, and leading companies like Google and IBM. The courses can be audited for free which will however restrict access to some assignments and the final certification. Nearly every course has a discussion forum that promotes peer-learning within the cohort.

2. edX

edX is similar to Coursera, the courses on edX are curated by universities like Harvard, MIT and the courses are available in the form of pre-recorded byte-sized video lectures. Also like Coursera, these courses can be audited absolutely free of cost.

3. LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn Learning also offers courses in business, creativity, and technology for personal and professional development. The courses are curated by industry professionals and subject matter experts.

4. Udemy

Ranging from technical skills to personal development, there are wide range of courses on a given topic to choose from. The courses on Udemy are designed in the form of instructor-led, pre-recorded short videos.

5. Skillshare

Skillshare is another learning platform with online byte-sized videos delivered by the global professional practitioners. The platform offers a limited period free trial.
